ANTONETTE GOLIKIDIS – DIRECTOR OF LITTLE INNOSCENTS ORGANIC BABY SKIN CARE
Antonette Golikidis is the creative face behind Little Innoscents - the show stopping babycare brand that’s one of the fastest growing labels on the Australian market. In less than four years Antonette single handedly developed a brand that’s now stocked in over 800 stores nationally; exported to Asia; and rapidly expanding by the day.
Antonette grew the innovative eco-conscience business from her Melbourne home out of desire and frustration for a chemical-free solution for her baby. Antonette searched in earnest for products with all-natural ingredients and claims of ‘organic’ that you could trust and couldn’t find any – so she created her own. Although Antonette primarily used her qualifications in Health Sciences and Natural Therapies to develop the products, she drew on her executive sales experience to strategically sell it.
In her quest to deliver a strong brand with integrity Antonette strived to reach organic certification for all six baby products in the Little Innoscents range. All products do not compromise on quality – they are 100% natural and innovative in that they are multi-purpose -therapeutically treating eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, dryness and sensitivity.
As a result of the rigorous research required to launch Little Innoscents Antonette has lived and breathed the organics industry and her knowledge of in natural skincare is second to none. In 2010 she was announced as a Biological Farmers of Australia Cosmetic Group Advisor.
Today, Antonette is still close to the humble beginnings of cooking up creams in the kitchen. She continues to care for her children (Alex, 5 and Antonio, 2), with her husband, Arthur (Systems Analyst) at home. It’s a tough balancing act, but one that she relishes – which is why she won Australian Mumpreneur of the Year 2010.
